Bio
Sheldon J. Clarke is a Brooklyn, New York born, raised aspiring actor. After graduating from Saint Peter’s College with a B.S. of Psychology, Sheldon embarked on a career in mortgage sales. Although he excelled, Sheldon’s lack of fulfillment led him to pursue his lifelong, recession-proof dream. Sheldon moved on to TVI Actor’s Studio and The Actor’s Connection in New York City where he rigorously studied the art of drama. He has been filmed in several shorts including The NBA Pre Draft Short where he plays crooked coach, Carl, a few features including The Ten Crack Commandments where he plays a conflicted drug dealer, Kevin, and a promo for HBO’s hit series True Blood where he portrays a Vampire Football Star. His motto speaks volumes:”What is one man’s dream is another man’s reality.” His wit, determination and willingness to adapt keep him humbled and a pleasure to work with.

Testimonials
Jamal Hodge, Primal Links ProductionsSheldon Clarke. Some actors put on the skin of the characters they inhabit, they breathe his air, move his bones, and sing his soul through a believability that causes an audience to stare and a director to take pause. Sheldon Clarke is one of these rare gems. Working with him was a relief. His objectivity, humility and professionalism helped him receive the work and evolve it beyond my own vision. My advice is this: There is genius in him, let him share it with your script, your set, and your audience.
Corey Neufville, Beautiful Ambition Pictures“Sheldon Clarke is a great talent and a better professional. In this business, the number one concern of mine is the reliability of talent. Even though coming from another state, Sheldon was always on time and always on mark. He contributed to the positive atmosphere and when the camera was on, was completely ready for every scene. I would definitely have no reservations working with him again and would recommend him with no hesitation.”
Carlos Deuringer, Director, Cadre Films
Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Sheldon Clarke is considered a well educated person, a fine athlete and a family man. His skills in sports adds versatility to his acting and modeling career, which has been defined by professionals in the TV and Film industry as “a fast-shaping all-around performer”. His latest work in productions such as 1003, The Wife, Conscientious Objector, etc. demonstrate his talent, consistency and perseverance in the fast-paced entertainment industry. Sheldon manages to mold his natural abilities, in such a way that makes people feel he works with ease. However, one of his greatest talents is his approach to every single role in his career, developing his knowledge and efficiency to the fullest, resulting in excellent performances not only as an actor, but as a human being.
Giancarlo Santos, Incendiary Entertainment
I’ve had the opportunity and privilege to work with Sheldon J. Clarke on the project Valentine, a short film I had written and co-produced in 2009. It was during our extensive auditions at Ripley-Grier Studios where we had selected him for a role that, while it was small, he had made sure to conquer its guise and definition to the maximum degree. I had scheduled a four-day shoot [two consecutive weekends] in-between July and August, and while the environment was nothing out of the ordinary, it was in my experience that Sheldon had performed above and beyond his calling as an actor in less than comforting situations. On day two, for example, we had subjected our crew to a cramped space under the intense lighting [and heat] our cinematography had called for. As this had gone on for hours at a time in some cases this wasn’t set to detract the delivery and quality of his performance. The following weekend the call time was during the off-hours of the day as we were filming in a bar after it had closed operations. Sheldon had still arrived on set with an excitement and fervor for the project that he took as his own.Sheldon Clarke’s demeanor is professional, his personality unique as it is strong and his execution of the given material is solid. He adds a dependable flavor that is undeniably lasting – and although his skills may still be developing I’ve seen his ability to tackle any and all types of roles and run with it until it fits his character to specification. After experiencing Sheldon J. Clarke in the real, I would only hope for the chance to work with him again.
